Le Vif récompensé au Prix Belfius, catégorie photo: redécouvrez le reportage gagnant
Le photojournaliste Olivier Papegnies a remporté le Prix Belfius de la Presse en catégorie « Photo » pour son reportage intitulé « En Turquie, voyage au bout du désastre », publié dans Le Vif en février 2023.
Les Prix Belfius de la Presse ont été décernés jeudi soir. Parmi les lauréats, Le Vif se distingue dans la catégorie « Photo ».
Le reportage gagnant est celui d’Olivier Papegnies, réalisé en Turquie suite au tremblement de terre du 6 février 2023, la catastrophe naturelle la plus meurtrière de l’histoire moderne de ce pays.
« Par ses images tant descriptives que symboliques, Olivier Papegnies parvient à nous faire prendre
la mesure de ce désastre – quelques 173 000 bâtiments détruits ou gravement endommagés – qui
a tué plus de 46 000 personnes, souligne le jury. Il parvient aussi à nous faire comprendre l’enfer que vont vivre quotidiennement les rescapés durant les années à venir. »
